This is a ready-made foundation for building shopping agents and seller agents, with working examples for retail, travel, telecommunications, and the entertainment industry.
In its blog, Anthropic breaks down the architecture in detail, methods for reducing latency and cost, as well as approaches to quality evaluation.
In addition, the company has released an open reference implementation. Inside are buyer and seller agents, four demos for different industries, and a Claude Code plugin that lets you build an agent on top of your own backend.
