Claude Code v2.1.198 Adds /dataviz Skill for Charts & Dashboards

Claude Code v2.1.198 has a new built-in skill: /dataviz

It loads into context recommendations for designing charts and dashboards: choosing the chart type, layout rules, and visual hierarchy for interfaces with large volumes of data.

It also includes an executable color palette validator, thanks to which Claude can programmatically check contrast and compliance with accessibility requirements rather than making assumptions.

There’s nothing to install — the skill is already included in the CLI.
If you need to quickly visualize data in HTML and get a high-quality result on the first try, it’s worth invoking this skill explicitly. In the second demo, it generates a dashboard based on download statistics from http://aitmpl.com.
