Google AI Pro & Ultra: Cloud Credits for Gemini 4 Argon in AI Studio
Google AI Pro gives $10/month credits, Ultra 5x $40, Ultra 20x $100. Credits roll over 12 months, but a $5 pre‑payment in AI Studio is required.
Google AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions include monthly Google Cloud credits, which can now be used to access Gemini 4 Argon via AI Studio.
The amount of credits depends on the subscription:
Google AI Plus — no credits.
Google AI Pro — $10 per month.
Google AI Ultra 5x — $40 per month.
Google AI Ultra 20x — $100 per month.
Credits accumulate month to month. Each allocation is valid for 12 months, so if you have been using the subscription for a long time, you may already have a significant amount of unused credits.
But there is a nuance: before Google allows you to use these credits, you need to make a pre‑payment of $5 in the AI Studio payment system.
