Google have open-sourced their draft specification for DESIGN.md on google-labs-code/design.mdgithub.com/google-labs-code/design.md

Now it can be used in any tool and on any platform

They also added several new capabilities to DESIGN.md: a tokens section, the beginnings of a components section, and a CLI validator to check the file. Agents can now understand design semantics and validate solutions against WCAG.
