Claude Managed Agents Adds Scheduled Deployments and Secure Env Vars

Claude Managed Agents now has two new features:

1. Scheduled deployments

Now each deployment includes an agent, an environment, a starting message, and a schedule. When it starts, a new session is created. No need to build or host your own scheduler.

2. Env vars

With env vars, agents can securely use the CLI, SDK, or direct API requests to services that authenticate via env variables. Claude has no access to secrets — they’re injected at the network edge.

Claude Code can automatically create a Managed Agent deployment. The built-in skill /claude-api knows the API, and the ant CLI provides an interface to work with it.
