Cursor SDK Public Beta: Build and Manage AI Agents with TypeScript
The SDK for Cursor is already here
Now you can build agents on the same runtime, orchestrator, and models used in Cursor, and manage them via a TypeScript API.
The Cursor desktop app, CLI, and web app are supported. You can run it locally or in the Cursor cloud on a dedicated virtual machine, with any frontier models.
The Cursor SDK is available in a public beta for all users.
They also several starter projects as open source: a coding agent as a command-line interface, a prototyping tool, and a kanban board with agent logic.
