OpenAI Unveils GPT-6 Astra: New Flagship AI Model Benchmarks
OpenAI has introduced GPT-6 Astra – a new flagship model that, judging by the first metrics, shows a serious leap compared to the previous generation
According to benchmarks, Astra shows very strong results:
- Terminal-Bench 4.0: 57.7% versus 55.8% for Fable 5.1 and 37.3% for GPT-5.6 Sol
- Terminal-Bench Science: 64.6% versus 52.6% for Fable 5.1
- ARC-AGI-3: 99.9%
- ExploitBench: 100%
The API price is $10 / $50 per 1M input/output tokens. Fast mode runs up to 2.5× faster and costs twice as much.
For now, Astra is being gradually rolled out to a limited number of organizations. In the coming days, the model is promised to be opened to paying users.
