Anthropic integrated Claude into Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
The assistant works in a side panel next to the open file, reads its content, and makes changes. The user can confirm each edit before it is applied.
Google Docs can also be opened directly in Claude. Just insert a link to the file or ask to create a document, spreadsheet, or presentation—they will appear next to the chat for collaborative editing. Access is determined by Google sharing settings.
The integration is available in beta on all paid Claude plans.
