Cursor Origin: the “GitHub for AI agents” launching this fall

SpaceX officially bought Cursor for $60B. And meanwhile Cursor is launching its “GitHub of the AI-agent era” — Cursor Origin.

It will be a platform for storing and managing code, but designed from the start not only for people, but also for armies of AI agents that continuously clone repositories, read code, and push changes.

There are few details so far: a mass launch is promised for the fall. Cursor says Origin should solve the main pain points of agentic development — coordination, review, and safe merging of AI-generated code at scale.
